We first caught wind of the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” last year, and it has piqued our interest ever since.True to its 1985 roots, the model forgoes the Jumpman we come so accustomed to and instead uses the Nike “Air” logo. However, it should be noted that the Air Jordan Wings logo remains on the ankle. The model takes inspiration from when David Stern “banned” the shoe back in the 80s. Here we see the model in a red and black leather upper that sits atop a white midsole. To finish things off, we have an “X” on the heel, and various verbiage that references the shoe’s creation and when it was banned within the liner. Stay close to the blog and we will let you know as soon as we here more about an official release.
