Nike Air Max 97 ‘Spike Lee’

Nike has been honoring long time friend Spike Lee with a pack of sneakers sporting signature Spike Lee inspired colorways and graphics. We have taken a look at a Nike Big Nike High, a Nike Air Trainer II and a Nike Blazer Hi all in the collection and now were gonna take a look at a Air Max 97 said to also be part of the Spike Lee Pack.
Unlike the other two releases we previously took a look at the AM 97 does not feature the use of the sunglasses on the tongue, a key element which helped to tie into the whole Spike Lee theme. The sneakers do however sport the same white, green and red color scheme seen on the Blazers.
The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Spike Lee’ is available now at Nike retailers statewide as well as on eBay.

Air Jordan Fusion 13 White/Black

As we have previously reported Jordan Brand will be debuting the Air Jordan Fusion 13 later this year with two colorways, white/black and black/red, with a flint grey version to follow in 2010 sometime. Jordan Brand has recently posted an official release for one of the two Fusion 13s releasing this year, the white/black version. The sneakers will be officially hitting distributors on November 21st.
The black/red version will be releasing sometime in December but at this time no official date has been set so make sure you stay tuned for further details.

Supra Footwear Holiday Collection

Yesterday we gave you a preview of some of the releases coming our way as part of the Supra Footwear Holiday Collection. What was shown was just a small glimpse into the seasons releases. One of the models which wasnt shown as the Supra Thunder, the signature pro model of Jim Greco which will return this season in four new colorups. Three of the four releases consist of tonal designs while the other features a bright red upper with repeating graphics in black throughout the entire upper.
An exact release date is not available at this time but numerous Supra retailers are taking pre-orders now on the Holiday 2009 Collection so visit your local Supra retailer to check on availability.

Air Jordan 1 High pure Red

The abundance of Air Jordan 1 colorways will continuing this holiday season in a range consisting of the Air Jordan 1 High, the Air Jordan 1 Phat, the AJ1 Phat Low and the Air Jordan 1 High Strap. Instead of listing all 14 colorways which will be releasing been now and December its best to just follow the jump to take a look at the entire lineup.

Nike Air Force 1 Premium ‘Reptile’ – Black/White/Varsity Red

Thanks to Swedish boutique Shelta we have a sneak peek at a pair of Air Force Ones which arent expected to hit the US until next month. Dubbed the Air Force 1 ‘Reptile’, this premium AF1 Low sports an upper constructed from a combo of black leather and black reptile textured leather with a hit of white on the Nike Swoosh. The white tongue is made from mesh and accenting the black upper are accents of varsity red. Finishing up the sneakers is a solid white mid-sole and a gum outsole.

A couple fews ago we gave you a preview of a few of the Nike SB October 2011 Releases. Now that October is in full swing we can now provide you with a shot of each of this months releases. Supra Dixon – Holiday Releases

When we gave you a sneak peek at the Supra Footwear Holiday 2011 Collection we mentioned the huge lineup of sneakers set to release soon would include something for every Supra fan out there whether your a fan of Skytops, Vaiders, Sports, Diablos, the TUF Collection or any of the other Supra models.
Yesterday we gave you a taste of the Supra Thunder colorways and today we bring you a look at the new Dixon colorups set to release in the coming weeks. In total there will be five new Dixon colorways, four of which use single mono tone uppers and another which has a little bit more of an eye catching design to it. The collection will consist of a Dixon in black canvas with a gum sole, dark green suede, navy suede and two in black suede one of them featuring a repeating design throughout the upper.
No exact release date is available at this time but numerous Supra retailers such as CCS are starting to take pre-orders on all the upcoming Supra Footwear Holiday 2011 Releases so hit em up now to reserve your pair.

Diamond Footwear – Miner & VVS

Here we get an early peek at the Miner and VVS models.  While the only other coloration on the Miner model is the White outsole the VVS is trimmed in tanned leather for contrast.The Miner features Mocha pigskin suede and a very simple construction while the VVS has the lines of a casual model done over the course of White leather. These will be available soon.
Fans of Nicky Diamond’s line are sure to love his Diamond Footwear line. The line features a few models that are sure to go well with those tee’s and hoodies.

In these photos however you can see just how high quality the sneakers really are.  The colors are also scattered about the shoe via its vents or pull tab. The suede chukka comes in either Black or White and is lined with the colors that make up the French flag.This is a really well put together drop and you can expect them to not only be in limited  numbers to but to also move pretty fast.

With the feel of a high top runner the Reebok Lynjon S.T. gets a swift make over that finds it sporting a Brown / Black – Camo colorway with a leather upper trimmed in Black. Spotting the camo is easy with its various shades of Brown and Red being infused also. The speckled midsole also stands out in the mix making this one very easy on the eyes.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Colorways

The shoe is set to release in two new colorways including White / Wolf Grey and White / Obsidian. Either pair features just what you’d expect from them which is simple color blocking and great materials.  These won’t be hard to find at all when they hit retailers so be on the look out for them.
When it comes to Jordan Brand the Air Jordan 1 Phat is definitely one its cornerstone classics. Apart from being the first signature model it is also the one that features the most classic lines, much akin to a Nike Dunk.

The adidas Originals LA Trainer is best associated with the Los Angeles Olympics that took place back in 1984, and has seen some really intriguing designs since originally making its way to shelves. This particular version sports an off-white suede construction, along with white mesh inserts for ventilation purposes. The shoe is still apart of adidas’ line-up, and is shown here in a brand new colorway. Minimal metallic silver and blue accents are scattered throughout, while the outsole is dressed in black. Look for them now at shops including Cologne based TGWO.

Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Pewter”

It may not bare the “Pro”moniker that the most recent Nike Air Foamposite One carried, but I don’t think that will be cause for any  concern around here.  A taste of carbon fiber sits at the arch, and Penny Hardaway’s logo sits comfortably on the heel. Retail is set at $200 with an official release of March 19. Look for the model to stock at finer Nike retail accounts.
The day is finally upon us when the often sought after Metallic Pewter Foamposite will make its way into our homes. Like most of the Faomposites that have released, the model features an icey outsole and black lace stays that travel up around the ankle.

The Kardashians x Sketchers Shape-Up Collection 6 Colors for Choice

As if Kim needs any help toning her ass, her and the Kardashian clan have teamed up with Sketchers to headline their own Shape-Up Collection.  In total there’s well over 60 different pairs for the ladies to choose from in more than 12 different styles.Rumored to have fetched the Kardashian brood a whooping 7-figures, sister’s Kim, Kourtney and Khole, and mom Kris, each put their name to a variety of different Sketchers Shape-Up models. We’re not going to post them all here, since Sketchers are not of big interest here on Sneaker Obsession, but for the ladies out there who hope to have an ass like Kim’s, or even better, hit up Sketchers now where you can view the entire collection.

Air Jordan 2010 Team “Marquette Golden Eagles”

If you happen to be a college basketball fan and you’re watching tonight’s match-up between Marquette and #1 seed Duke, you’ll notice the Golden Eagles are draped in Jordan gear. From their uniforms to their shoes, Jordan Brand has outfitted the Golden Eagles with everything they’ll need to compete this season, including custom colorways of the Air Jordan 2010 team.  Based on this preview, the colors appear to be laid out slightly different on the sole unit to separate the two from each other, not to mention there’s the Marquette hit along the lace panel and the MU embroidered on the tongue to further help distinguish which is which.

Nike 6.0 “DeLorean” Dunk -DMC Releases Now

Chalk up another limited release for Black Friday. Joining such releases as the Air Jordan 13 “Flint Grey”,Air Jordan 7 Premio “Bin 23″and the black version of the Foamposite Air Force 1, among many others, is this interesting collaboration between DeLorean Motor Company and Nike 6.0. Influenced by the DeLorean DMC-12, an extremely rare car from the early 80′s most notable for it’s appearance in Back to the Future, Nike 6.0 reinterpreted the car’s sleek stainless steel exterior onto a matte silver Dunk using a solid one-piece upper with cues from to the gullwing door on the bottom eyestay. The shoe’s outsole references the DeLorean’s tail lights in a three-way split of white, red and orange, and the DMC-12′s rear window shades reappear as graphic lines on the heel replacing the traditional stitching. Furthermore, the Belfast stamp on the tongue is a nod to the Irish factory that originally produced the DeLorean DMC-12 in ’81 and ’82.
As mentioned, these will be a Black Friday release and they’ll become available as a quickstrike through Nike.com, NikeTown locations and select Nike retailers, like Salvation in Irvin, California. More detailed photos of the DeLorean Nike 6.0 Dunks follow after the jump.

 

Vans SK8-Hi “Vintage Acid Wash” Customs

Over the years, Sneaker Obsession was watched and helped a number of sneaker customizers grow to a level they could of once never imagined. One of those customizers is our good friend Adam Trowell, better known in the sneaker world as theMenace. The kid always had a knack for what he did, but the attention we gave him and the feedback he received in return from reviewers made him only want to improve on the skill he already had. Adam is now at a point where he’s creating custom sneakers that are so clean, they look like they’re right off the retail floor. One pair, that of which is shown above, features Black denim throughout the upper, while the second pair shown after the jump includes Blue denim. Jean stitching is used to hold it all in place, with the edges lightly frayed for a worn look. Aside from the whole sneaker itself, one of the things I like the most is the official Levi’s label stitched onto the right heel of each shoe. If Levis and Vans were to meet one day, these would be their love childs.
Our hats go off to Adam on a fantastic job and a whole new level of improvement. For a closer look at plenty of pictures of both shoes follow the jump.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Hot Red”

In addition to the upcoming re-release of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Metallic Silver” this Black Friday, Nike is also reissuing the “Hot Red” Air Griffey Max 1. Honoring Ken Griffey Jr’s days with the Cincinnati Reds, the sneakers feature a Black and Anthracite base, a white midsole and accents of Hot Red. The sneakers originally released back in 2009, and than again this past summer, making this the third time the sneakers have hit stores shelves. It won’t be the last time we see a Cincinnati Reds-inspired colorway either on the Air Griffey Max, as 2011 will see the release of a White/Red version reminiscent to the cleats Griffey wore during the 2007 All-Star Game.

If you didn’t pick a pair up one of the two times before and you’re interested in doing so now, you can get them through Eastbay for $140.

The upper is graced with a dark shadow grey hue, as well as white and red contrasts throughout. You can find them now at select Nike retailers including Stockholm based Caliroots.
The classic Nike Air Max 90 is back again, this time in a brand new colorway that has recently made its way to select accounts. The low-top runner sports a combination of leather and mesh along the upper, and also incorporates a max air unit at the heel.

While the year just started with the seasons beginning to sway from cold to warm its safe to say that 2011 is officially well underway. The year holds a few great things in terms of sneaker releases when it comes to Nike SB and we have a taste of just what to expect.
Here you can see a few choice pieces out of the Collection including a Dunk Mid, Stefan Janoski Low and P-Rod 1984. Each model is crafted of suede but certainly the line has leather looks on deck. Our favorite out the bunch has to be the Nike Dunk Mid for its Red upper and Gum midsole which is sure to be a shoe-in for any collection.

Nike LeBron 8 – SVSM Home & Away PE’s

Here we see that he has given them a few new colorways to rock on court. The Nike LeBron 8 v1 was the sneaker of choice this year and for the Home colorway the sneaker features White leather toggled against Navy Blue Flywire paneling with Green trim.  Both of these versions are pretty tight but if they did hit retail (which they won’t) what pair would you be spending your money on?
You can expect a St. Vincent – St. Mary colorway from LeBron James for as long as he has his own signature sneaker. The High School helped shape his career and he will forever be indebted to them.

As far as new models go they are really bent on reducing the weight of the sneaker in general. One way that this has been done is with their all new 3D Ultralite sole. The newest model to make the most of this technology is the Reebok NPC II Ultralite and from eyeballing it alone you can tell from the White mesh upper that these are as light as a feather. The 3D Ultralite outsole is in Yellow on this model but chances are they come in several other flavors.

adidas Originals Forum Mid Lite – Blue/Yellow/White

The adidas Forum is a hard shoe to hate and with their new ‘Lite’ line it’s even easier to love. The sneaker has been given a materials make over that has the upper draped in a super lightweight mesh like material that we’ve never seen done.
We looked at the Aero Red model already and this Blue/Yellow-White is just as refreshing. If you look closely you can see the mesh wrapping the upper that creates the textured feel the shoe has. The Blue sneaker is highlighted by Yellow on the ankle strap and finished off by a Gum outsole.
